Mitchell Knisbacher’s experience in telecommunications includes management of all facets of the long distance business and 800 number services. Prior to founding CallFinder and 800response, Dr. Knisbacher was a senior partner at Riser Management Systems, an engineering and consulting firm representing Class A office properties in the design and management of telecommunications infrastructure in office towers. Before his days at Riser, he was the founder and CEO of Long Distance North, a regional reseller that operated in northern New England until its sale in 1991 to Frontier Communications (formerly Rochester Telephone Company). Dr. Knisbacher has served as a consultant to telecommunications companies in the United States and abroad, and has made numerous appearances as an expert witness in state regulatory proceedings.
Dr. Knisbacher is also President of the toll-free industry trade association, 1-800-AFTA (1-800-American Free Trade Association). A champion of toll-free industry issues, CallFinder and 800response participate alongside major long distance carriers in SNAC meetings, the committee that sets toll-free number administration guidelines and makes recommendations to the FCC.
Prior to entering the telecommunications business in 1984, Dr. Knisbacher taught law for four years and practiced for five years with the federal government. His government service included a year in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, and concluded with an appointment as Assistant General Counsel of the Postal Rate Commission. Dr. Knisbacher holds a law degree from Harvard and a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Rick has over 30 years in business-to-business sales with the last 24 years in the telecommunications sector, focused on the small to medium size business market. He has progressive telecommunications experience, with expertise in sales, customer service, operations, and strategic growth. Rick works closely with the sales team and customers to develop an understanding of the strategic issues involved in managing their company and utilizes this knowledge to advise them on the best telecom routing and analytics solutions for their needs.
Throughout his career, he has held the post as Director, Vice President and President of his own consulting company, his own Telecom & Internet company and a regional Telecom provider. His resume includes the development of well over 2,000 sales reps with telecom product knowledge and business-to-business selling techniques. Rick’s accomplishments also include the development of Customer Service teams with a goal of delivering exceptional customer service in the eyes of the customer.
Prior to working with 800response and CallFinder, Rick consulted with and held senior positions for three start-up telecommunications companies. Rick holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and several certificates in sales programs including an instructor for the Dale Carnegie Sales Course.
John Evancie has extensive experience in creating and managing information systems and directing operations for technical service organizations, with over over 25 years delivering complex software and hardware solutions to the SMB market. He directs the IS team at CallFinder and 800response, overseeing operations and maintenance of the internal networks and systems for CallFinder and 800response, and the telecom, web, and speech analytics platforms that drive the company’s flagship services. In addition, John manages new technology and software initiatives and is responsible for executing the product development road maps for CallFinder and 800response.
John served nine years as Director of Information and Business Services for the $50-million New England division of Frontier Communications, a regional long distance carrier. Previously, he was a systems analyst for Data Systems, Inc. and performed strategic planning for McDonnell Aircraft Company (a division of Boeing). John holds a B.A. in statistics from the University of Rochester and an M.S. in Management from Case Western Reserve University.
With over 20 years of telecommunications experience, Linda Young oversees the operational functions for CallFinder and 800response. Linda fills an integral role in developing and maintaining the company’s relationships with key telecom vendors. She also manages the organization’s technical service staff, which is responsible for establishing customer accounts on the company-owned IVR routing platform, and web-based reporting and recording services.
Linda works closely with the IS team on enhancements to the company’s proprietary software, including the CallFinder speech analytics platform development. Prior to her introduction to the telecommunications field, Linda worked in Boston for a pension fund advisor investing in commercial real estate. Linda holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with honors, from the University of Vermont.
In the role of Vice President of Marketing, Laura Noonan directs the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy and oversees the organization’s creative, public relations, and sales strategies.
Under Laura’s helm, the marketing department is responsible for positioning CallFinder’s launch and growth strategy, and cultivating opportunities in new and existing markets through market and customer insight, corporate positioning, branding, and advertising, as well as marketing of products, and solutions for 800response.
Laura has a successful track record in managing product launches, sales performance, and corporate communications, with a keen focus on building strategically sound direction for the company to allow for growth. She has been an integral member of the marketing team and marketing committee for 19 years, with equal years experience in the telecommunications industry, and a thorough understanding of the small to medium-sized business market. Laura holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
Kathryn Rossner has a diverse management background in the sales and manufacturing sectors that spans more than 28 years. Kathryn brings 18 years of sales experience in the electronics and communications industries to the table, with a keen understanding of backend telecommunication systems.
In her role as Vice President of Sales & Major Accounts at CallFinder and 800response, Kathryn leads all direct initiatives to advertising agencies and is responsible for creating and managing those new business relationships. Kathryn is also responsible for nurturing major client accounts for the business.
Prior to her introduction to the telecommunications field, Kathryn owned and operated several businesses, which include electronics and contact management software.
Bob Cleary has over 22 years experience in the accounting arena; with the last 16 years spent supervising all positions that comprise an accounting department. His former experience as the accountant and auditor for the famous Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont gave him the foundation for his current position as Vice President and Controller at CallFinder and 800response.
Prior to becoming the Vice President and Controller of 800response, Bob was the accountant and financial analyst with the telecommunications company, formerly known as Long Distance North. For over 16 years, Bob has managed tax filings for the company’s telecommunication services throughout North America.
Bob is responsible for the daily financial affairs of the company, as well as management of the human resource functions. Bob holds an accounting degree from Johnson State College.
